The course is three days long. It includes 2-1/2 days of Basically CDBG training, with the presentation customized for NSP2 grantees, plus a half day of DRGR and federalreporting.gov training. The trainers will be HUD program staff and DRGR administrators.

Who Should Attend

Basically CDBG is appropriate for NSP2-funded CDBG grantee staff who are new to the CDBG Program and for experienced staff who wish a refresher course on the program and NSP2 specific information about DRGR. This class is focused on the CDBG regulations with particular emphasis on how they relate to NSP2. Staff of state, local government, or non-profit grantees, consortia members, or subrecipients that are funded/receive funds from a state may register. (Please register for the course location nearest your organization.)

Due to the limited availability of training seats, only organizations that are receiving NSP2 funding are permitted to register for these classes. Registrants will be required to provide the NSP2 grant number and the name of the lead recipient in order to be able to participate. No more than four (4) registrants per grantee please.
