HUD will host a webinar for NSP1 and NSP2 grantees and subgrantees/subrecipients on the Federal Housing Administration's (FHA's) new First Look Sales Method. The First Look Sales Method gives state and local governments and nonprofit organizations participating in HUD?s Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) a preference to acquire homes from the Department?s inventory of foreclosed properties. Learn how the sale of HUD Homes under the First Look Sales Method will align NSP and FHA requirements to provide NSP grantees an exclusive option to purchase HUD homes before they are marketed to other purchasers. Benefits include exclusive access to new FHA REO properties in NSP designated areas and a guaranteed 10% discount from appraised value (less any applicable transaction costs).
