Abstract
This HUD NSP Policy Alert is intended for grantees seeking a summary of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) memo “Neighborhood Stabilization Program and FHA Financing” dated March 24, 2010 and its implications for NSP grantees. In the memo The Director of the Office of Single Family Program Development asks all Processing and Underwriting Directors and Program Support Directors to support NSP by following NSP-specific polices on Downpayment Assistance, Area Median Income, Multiple Liens, and Combined Loan-to-Value when determining a project's eligibility for FHA financing. This policy alert was previously labeled as NSP Policy Alert Volume 5.
