Abstract

This HUD NSP Policy Alert is intended for NSP2 grantees seeking information on NSP2 Action Plan Amendments. HUD has received more requests to amend NSP2 action plans than anticipated, especially for expansions of approved target areas. The Department is concerned that such expansions, especially at this early stage of the program, will undermine program effectiveness and therefore is discouraging such amendments. This document provides guidance to NSP2 grantees. This policy alert was previously labeled as NSP Policy Alert Volume 9.
